Hi my car is a 51 reg peugeot 206 cc the roof lost power last night as i was trying to open it we managed to get it down but when i came to try and put it back on it continually beeped and their was no power in the roof at all we manually managed to put it back up but the corners on the boot lid area have not locked in the correct position.

Ok mate ive thought about it and im gonna help.
Check wiring connections and for moisture corrosion.
Beeping alarm sound when driving warning the roof is not shut down and locked correctly.
Turn off the ignition wait 30 seconds then try again if this does not work you have to read the manual and it says open the boot and pull the string on the parcel shelf find the allen key in tool.
The ussual fault is the rotary switch in the boot on the end of the roof mechanism.
Neither the window nor roof switches work nor do i get the usual warning tones when i press them.
How do reset the roof of a peugeot 206cc.
Most roof problems are not due to the roof ecu but it sounds as if this one probably is.
The abs pump in my version of the 206cc controls the speedo hence when the car logged the abs fault think it was a communication fault the car ecu could not determine the speed accurately and would not open the roof.

It was only a question as ive been out to one of these before when the woman who owned it had forgot to draw the blind.
It is really easy to replace but a pain to set up not really the job for an amature to do.
I left my car with cayman autos and a couple of days later i was told the problem.
Cheaper than the manufacturer.
The boot tray is extended and the trip seems to work.
