The bike has a mix of tiagra and sora components and i got it for a nice discount. I got myself a 2013 fuji sportif 1 3 as my first road bike a few months ago. The bike features 21 speeds with shimano derailleur and shimano revo shifters allowing you. I understand that this is not a reasonable budget for a good bike but i am going to uc davis which is a college town and after having injuries from weightlifting i would rather do something that is not high impact such as biking.

The gmc denali is built for performance and value. Pretty good bang for your buck. Not the highest quality but definitely better than a walmart bike and good enough to let you get a feel for ride biking. Sure it s possible to find a decent bike on craigslist for under 500 if you have a lot of time and know what to look for but if you re asking this question on reddit you probably don t know what to look for.
