Hey all i m just getting in to this room acoustics thing and am moving in to a flat on my own this weekend where i plan to make the main room a studio living space.

Sonarworks has its own affordable mic with each model being measured against an ansi certified measurement microphone to provide perfect accuracy.
I was trying to use reference to measure room mode at a specific location in my studio so i could do an inverse curve on my bass channel to remove some of the room resonance in that particular location.
Like the other mics here the frequency response is a respectable 20hz to 20khz with an spl of 132 db.
So i m a happy customer.
My monitors sound smoother clearer and there is a noticeable improvement in imaging.
Though the price difference between the two systems is considerable we should not ignore the fact that both sonarworks and trinnov products are helping us all understand more and talk about the category of room.
My room is semi treated but i had a big dip at around 140hz or so.
